Blooming

Just a quick post to show off my little project. I went to an Uppercase Living Party a few weeks ago and ordered this expression. My walls in the bedroom are texturized so it was a little more tedious getting it on the wall but all in all it was pretty easy to do. I have been looking for something to go over my headboard ever since I moved in 2 years ago. I think it looks pretty cool.

Color Inspiration #22

Here is my first attempt at the color inspiration challenge. It's not much but the best I could come up with considering my limited supply of tools and such.

Fall is in the Air!!!!!

I love this time of year! The weather is cooling off, leaves are beginning to change and the mums are blooming. Autumn is my favorite season and I think October is probably my favorite month. Both my kids were born in October, the 6th and the 10th, three years apart. The other two important people in my life were also born in October. Dad on the 17th and the love of my life, Jeff on the 16th. Coming up on the 13th we will celebrate my daughter and son-in-law's first anniversary. Boy was I busy this time last year planning Erin's wedding. There is something to be said for eloping. Honestly, I wouldn't have had it any other way. It really was a great day!

Open House (continued)

Last night was the open house and I want to thank all of you who came. I hope you enjoyed yourselves and the recipes. I love having my friends over, sharing recipes and just getting visit and catch up with my friends. Thanks again for coming.

Open House

Tomorrow is my Pampered Chef Fall Open House here at my house at 6:30 pm. I am looking for a good crowd to come and see the new fall products and try some quick easy recipes. Hope you all can make it.
